Overview : Bank of America (formerly NationsBank) has experienced rapid growth throughout the country predominantly through acquisitions and mergers with regional banking concerns. Bank of America is a world leader money center operation with offices across the country and lending facilities worldwide.

Business Challenge : To keep this abundant system working smoothly, Bank of America needed an IT and offshore services firm who could provide both technology strategy and solution to integrate a common architecture across multiple internal applications and link these to legacy systems. Bank of America also needed to replace many of its existing technologies with state-of-the-art systems that could be supported and scale to meet their future business needs. The different business units of Bank of America, due to the numerous acquisitions, had numerous problems between embedded enterprise level applications. Further, they would benefit from a central database system for all of their products to increase efficiencies in their workflow process. Lastly Bank of America needed a front end web solution that would tie into the various applications and provide award winning multimedia and design.

Business Solution : DDGlobal worked closely with Bank of America to design standardized web site design, workflow processes and standardized automation systems that provided consistency and adhesion between different business units. DDGlobal leveraged its expertise in strategy, architecture and large-scale systems integration, to deliver solutions that were flexible, scalable, and extensible to meet current and future business needs. DDGlobal implemented a framework based on common architecture schemes, and XML technology which tied the core applications within Bank of America's customer service, loan processing and small office / home office lending departments.

Outcome of Engagement: From state-of-the art data management systems, award winning site design and development, to increasing revenue through secure B2B data exchanges, to a wide array of other cost cutting and streamlining technologies, DDGlobal' custom solutions reduced operating costs and increased efficiency that led to improved overall workflow processes.
